Kylie Minogue –Sunday 14th and Monday 15th July at Edinburgh Castle
International superstar, Kylie Minogue will return to play in Edinburgh after nearly 30 years! Kylie’s last full concert in Edinburgh was back in 2003 at the Edinburgh Playhouse. This world tour is made up of only 7 shows across the summer.
The Proclaimers – 20th and 21st July at Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh born twin brothers, Craig and Charlie Reid, became known 31 years ago with their hit single Letter from America. Continuing their success over the years the brothers have toured the world with hit songs Sunshine on Leith, I’m Gonna Be (500 miles) and I’m On My Way.
Edinburgh Summer Sessions
Adding the this years summer concerts in Edinburgh is Edinburgh Summer Sessions.The line-up for this year’s Edinburgh Summer Sessions has now been announced and sees seven shows this August. The headline artists include Florence + The Machine, Courteeners and Primal Scream. We have detailed the full line up below:
Florence + The Machine – Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th August at Princes Street Gardens
Opening the series with 2 headline shows, the band fronted by Florence Welch have a collection of hit singles including You’ve Got the Love and Dog Days Are Over. Tickets can be purchased here.
Primal Scream – Saturday 10th August at Princes Street Gardens
Scottish rock band Primal Scream take centre stage at Edinburgh Summer Sessions. Known for their influential album Screamadelica in 1991 the band continue to release iconic music throughout the years. Tickets can be purchased here.
Chvrches – Sunday 11th August at Princes Street Gardens
Having released their 3rd album Love is Dead last year, Chvrches play Edinburgh Summer Sessions this August. Their new album has hit songs such as Leave a Trace and Never Day Die. Tickets can be purchased here.
Lewis Capaldi – Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th August at Princes Street Gardens
Reaching the top of the Official UK Charts with ‘Someone You Loved’, Lewis Capaldi will perform his debut at Edinburgh Summer Sessions on Tuesday 13th August. The young singer-songwriter is going from strength to strength with a BRIT nomination for the Critics choice award this year. Tickets can be purchased here.
James –Thursday 15th August at Princes Street Gardens
